Presented by Wired Aerial Theatre
This epic outdoor performance confronts the theme of climate change head on, combining aerial theatre, filmscape, original music and ingenious staging. Dramatising the Copenhagen Conference on climate change as a universal human tragedy, the show offers a compelling vision of a planet in crisis and an appeal for positive change in response to a disaster of our own creation.
Written and directed by Nigel Jamieson, one of the world’s leading forces in outdoor spectacle and created by Wired Aerial Theatre, As the World Tipped takes place in the highly appropriate setting of one of London’s most ecological and visionary parks.

Rough Trade East In-store - METRONOMY - Monday 11th April, 7pm 11/04/2011
BUY THE NEW ALBUM 'ENGLISH RIVIERA' ON THE DAY OF THE IN-STORE AT ROUGH TRADE EAST AND COLLECT YOUR WRISTBAND AT THE SAME TIME, ANY REMAINING WRISTBANDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE STAGE TIME...ONE PER PERSON
Anyone expecting more of the same digital melancholia as heard on the universally-lauded Nights Out is in for a shock - but a pleasant one. The English Riviera, Metronomy's third album and second, after Nights Out, on Because Music is a belting, unashamed pop album, a gorgeous record full of languid, sunset funk songs, which looks set to propel Metronomy even further than they have travelled thus far.
